Caspian Goodhope-Orman

Caspian, a fourteen month old male Newfoundland, stayed at the Dog Ranch for a week while his folks made a long and exhausting move from Missoula to Ketchikan, AK. Although Caspian looks a grown up dog he is really a puppy in a great big Newfie body!

He so wanted to play with the other dogs but wasn't quite sure what to do with himself once he got the opportunity. Shay, the little Aussie, tried his best to help him figure out the best approach and they managed a bit of quality play time.
Caspian was a handy fetcher and was enthusiastic in his retrieves...until he was done. Once he was done he was done - thank you very much!

He also had the opportunity to go swimming in the pond. Talk about a fish to water. He dove right in and swam around and around. Once he was out he was as goofy as any dog could be running around the bank and rolling and rolling in utter joy.

He was a sweet guy and really seemed to embrace all of the activities at the Dog Ranch!
