New Dog Yard Completed!

Ken and I (mostly Ken) have been working on fencing in a portion of the pasture behind the dog runs this summer. It was quite a project with over 300 linear feet of 6 ft high wire mesh that we buried into the ground. We wanted a nice big yard that was secure enough to hold even the most determined escape artists. It turned out great and the dogs seem to really enjoy it!

We now have 4 exercise yards for the Dog Ranch guests. This provides us with ample space for those that don't like the company of other dogs and those that do. The new yard is a great place for the dogs to really stretch their legs and is perfect for frisbees and chuckits. It is such a nice flat space that is calls for agility equipment. Maybe next spring we can spiff up the equipment and introduce the guests to agility!
