Maizey and Griffin Shaw

This past weekend Maizey and her brother Griffin, both one year old Schnauzers, visited us while their family went camping at Holland Lake. This was their first time away from home so it was a bit of an experiment for both parties.

Maizey is a little less sure of new experiences than her brother Griffin but he really helped calm her and show her that it was no big deal. In fact it was kind of fun.

Both dogs and their human family made it through the weekend and handled the separation like champs!

As you can see lounging in the shade topped the list of things to do. It is important to stay cool in between racing around the yard at top speeds!
