Shadow Harris-Weidner

Shadow, a young female black Lab, stayed with us for a few days at the beginning of June. She was just the sweetest thing and had a great time playing with boys staying here. She is a fantastic retriever, complete with dropping the ball at your feet and sitting for it to be thrown.



She also was one of the first dogs that got the opportunity to play in the pond this year. The pond has been very low and with all the recent rains it filled to the brim. She was delighted to head down with two pond loving Aussies and they just had a ball.

The sun came out and they swam until they couldn't swim anymore. There is nothing more fun than watching dogs having the best time ever!

We were happy to meet Shadow, enjoyed her stay and we hope to have her again this summer.
