More Outside Run Progress Photos

Here are a few more photos that show how we progressed over the weekend. The first is the trench we dug along the wall to bury chicken wire. This should keep any determined diggers from making a great escape.

We then leveled the dirt and placed the pea gravel over the top. The ground slopes quite a bit from the garage here. At first we weren't sure how much we wanted to mess with it but with some work we were able to make a once fairly steep slope into a much more gradually sloped run. It should be perfect for drainage now!

This is what they look like so far. We are both very pleased with how nicely our hard work has paid off so far. Now it is on to the privacy fence and then we can start work inside.

I am off to Oakland tomorrow to participate in the APDT's annual dog trainers' conference. It is always a good way to get reinvigorated and add new tricks to my training bag.
