Where's Bronte?

One of the questions I hear most from friends and family is "How's Bronte?" Bronte is great! She has had her share of rough patches over the last year from severe lack of appetite to a bout with tick paralysis, but the good news is that she is loving the ranch life, has gained weight and seems really happy.

She is almost completely deaf and has doggy dementia (Ken affectionately calls her "Loopy Lu") so she is not allowed the same freedoms as the other two. She spends most of her time in the fenced yard although she does get to come out to visit while we work and sticks quite close. She is only allowed out to the barn on leash now after a couple of wanderings that about gave her mother a heart attack.

She's an old lady and sleeps most of the time. We are happy as she is continuing to eat well and gets excited when she goes on little excursions. The ranch life suits her well and she could even be found cooling off in the irrigation ditch this summer. Sweet Bronte. She's a good girl.
